T. was a snobby prog rocker from an early age. Once he heard Yes' Owner of a Lonely Heart on the radio, he explored their back catalog and discovered a plethora of wonderful music. He then graduated to the back catalog of Genesis and discovered other pretentious British prog. Before he knew it, he could barely stand to listen to a song less than ten minutes long! That is, until the summer of 1988 when his cousin introuced him to the ridiculous musical virtuosity of Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine and Marty Friedman. It was at that point that T. knew he could never play an instrument well, so he didn't try. He played trombone in the school band and remained just good enough not to get kicked out because he dug the band trips. Later he started playing in a punk/ska band inspired by his fave act of the mid 80s, Huey Lewis & the News which led into a prog metal band after years of turmoil and musical dissention. (I dont even know know what dissention means!) There are a lot of holes in this story, but no one reads this stuff anyway.
